RFI 01: N4008521Q2508 COVID Cleaning Services at PNSY
1. Question: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?
Answer: Yes, we are currently in contract with Insurcomm, Inc. for COVID Cleaning Services at PNSY. The contract number is N4008520D0049 and the most recent Task Order number is N4008521F4357.
2. Question: Will there be a need for cleaning staff to remain on the base every day or is this an on call basis?
Answer: The work shall be performed per the IDIQ task order scope of work. Contractor shall be available 24/7 and shall respond within 2 hrs of notification. Contractor shall remain onsite until required task is completed (will order per square foot).
3. Question: Over the past year how often have they been called to clean?
Answer: From 4/15/20 to present, there have been 134 cleaning calls and 256 fogging calls.
4. Question: Can the staff be escorted by another staff member with the DIBBS clearance? How long does it take to have a staff member cleared under DIBBS?
Answer: No, staff cannot be escorted by another staff member with DBIDS.
One DBIDS request 5500 for the company should be submitted. Once the company DBIDS is approved, each employee will be required to fill out a SECNAV 5512 form and bring that form and two forms of ID to the Pass and ID office. Average approval time is approximately one week; however, approval times may vary.
5. Question: Are you using a janitorial service company now for cleaning the base? If yes please provide the contractors name.
