About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for facility support services. The amendment extends the proposal due date to January 6, 2021 and provides responses to 13 questions from offerors. The services required include facility investment, maintenance, and operations support at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina and associated outlying fields. The incumbent contractor will continue work under a base year and four option years. Historical workload data is unavailable due to changed requirements, so offerors should determine staffing needs. The contract value and specific facilities included are not disclosed. The amendment also provides a Department of Labor wage determination applicable to the services.

QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

Please confirm that the Government will only pay for the portion of labor and material that exceeds the Major Service Order max of $5,000 in total direct labor and material costs, if non-recurring work is issued for repairs.

For example, a service order is issued to contractor, the contractor notifies the KO upon identification that the service order will exceed $5,000 in total direct labor and material costs (as an example, the total labor and material will be $10,000). The Government issues a task order under the non-recurring work for the $10,000 repair. Will Government only pay for the $5,000 that exceeds the major service order max of $5,000 ($10,000- $5,000 major service order max) or will Gov't pay for the $10,000 repair?
