Wall Finish Plans referenced above show symbols for wall protections i.e. BG/BG, BG/WG. It does not distinguish between BG‐1 or BG‐2. Please clarify.
BG-2 is intended to be the general use bumper guard mounted as indicated on QH200.
- BG-1 is intended to be used when wall protection line code BG/BG is indicated on the IN111-series plans.
- BG-1 would be installed above BG-2, the height for BG-2 is wrong on QH200.
The top of BG-2 should be 34" to match the handrail HR-1 height.
Drawing QH200 shows mounting heights but does not specify scenarios as they are noted on Wall Finish Plans.
Agree, QH200 BG mounting heights do not show the BG/BG condition and should indicate the BG-1 and BG-2mounting height intent. See answer in question 2 for mounting heights.
