TOTAL PRICE (CLINs 0001-0002) $_____________________________
General Notes:
1. Evaluation of Options (JUL 1990). Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206 (b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the price for the Option(s) to the total price for CLIN 0001. In accordance with FAR 52.217-5, evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the Option(s).
2. For bid items where unit prices are indicated as required, bidders shall enter unit prices and extended totals in spaces provided. If there is a difference between a unit price and the extended total, the unit price will be held to be the intended bid and the total recomputed accordingly. If a bidder provides a total but fails to enter a unit price, the total divided by the specified quantity will be held to be the intended unit price. If the sum total proposed for CLINS 0001-0002 differs from the individual CLIN prices, the total will be recomputed using the individual CLIN proposed amounts. Unit priced items are subject to FAR 52.211-18, Variation in estimated Quantity.
3. Failure to enter a price for any CLIN will result in a proposal being rejected as unacceptable.
4. The Government may reject an offer as nonresponsive if it is materially unbalanced. An offer is unbalanced when it is based on prices significantly less than cost for some work and prices which are significantly overstated for other work.
5. Total Contract duration is 502 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Government reserves the unilateral right to award CLINS 0002-0003 to the Contractor at the proposed price within 365 calendar days after the contract award. A firm fixed proposed price is required for CLINS 0001 and 0002. The Contract Completion Date (CCD) does not change if any or all the bid options are awarded.
6. If CLIN 0002 is exercised, additional bonding and consent of surety is required. Consequently, the Performance Bond must reflect 100 percent of the aggregate amount of all Items.
7. In case of a discrepancy between the CLIN(s) price and the total price, the CLIN(s) price will be presumed to be correct and the total price will be recalculated accordingly; in case of a discrepancy between the SLIN(s) prices and the price for the CLIN, the SLIN(s) price will be presumed to be correct and the CLIN price will be recalculated accordingly; in case of a discrepancy between a unit price and an extended price, the unit price will be presumed to be correct and the extended price will be recalculated accordingly; subject, however, to correction to the same extent and in the same manner as any other mistake.
8. Options will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options. Evaluation of the Options will not obligate the Government to execute any or all of the Options.
