About this file

This amendment provides additional clarification regarding an organized site visit for a solicitation seeking facilities support services. The site visit will be held on January 7, 2019 at the Washington Navy Yard, preceded by a pre-proposal conference. The amendment requires the completion of security paperwork and limits two participants per contractor. Only cleared contractors will be allowed to participate. No questions will be answered at the site visit.

The related federal contract opportunity notice seeks proposals for facilities support services at the White House Communications Agency and Marine Helicopter Squadron One at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. Services include facility management, maintenance, fire protection, janitorial services, pest control, and ground maintenance. The proposed requirements are performance-based with a one year base period and four one-year options. The solicitation will utilize lowest price technically acceptable with award to the offeror providing the best value. The site visit date is January 7, 2019 as detailed in the amendment. The competition is open to all small businesses with a December 21, 2018 anticipated issuance date and January 19, 2019 question deadline.
