TITLE: _____Overhauling Sea Valves_______ ___________
QUESTION:
Please state which valves in Encl 2.2.1 are to be replaced with GFM, which are to be replaced with CFM and which are to be overhauled. As written, the GFM valves in 4.0 cannot be correlated to the valve list in Encl 2.2.1.

QUESTION:
Will the following be accepted for lewis and clark as is on most msc vessels at this time?
2) Offers may elect to submit a digital proposal via DOD Safe or email without the submission of paper proposals. All other requirements below remain in effect. Offers can be mailed through a commercial/Government carrier or hand-carried. Access to the Naval Station Norfolk and the MSC office is restricted. Offerors, couriers, and other delivery services may encounter unpredictable and lengthy delays or denied access when attempting to enter the facility. Similarly, mailed proposals may encounter unpredictable and lengthy routing delays. In all cases, offerors are responsible for the risks associated with the chosen delivery method and for ensuring that the Government receives the complete proposal at the appropriate designated location prior to the due date and time for proposal submission.

3. QUESTION:
Please see attached request for clarification. Also noted that we have received amendments 1-5, and 8 but have not received amendments 6 & 7 will the missing amendments be issued. Additionally Beta.Sam.Gov has clarification files groups 1-4 and 6, please advise if group 5 is forthcoming.
All amendments are posted up to date (1-8). Please note Block (2) of the Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract provided. Questions posted to Beta,Sam.Gov should read 1-5. Group #6 label was an error. Henceforth, clarification question will be posted without group number assigned.
4. QUESTION:
With regards to specification clarification cut off time of September 7, 2:00 EST, is the date actually for September 7th (this day is Labor Day and being such is a National Holiday and all offices are closed). Can the date be extended to the following business day of September 8, 2020?
