SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

Summary of Changes The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to:

1) Extend the Solicitation Close Date from 10/25/2024 to 11/01/2024.

2) Answer questions from vendors.

Questions & Answers

Question 1: The NSN that is listed throughout the solicitation has more numbers than most. Can you please verify if the printed NSN 66251018794556 is correct?

Answer 1. The NSNs listed throughout the solicitation are incorrect. Amendment 0001 updated CLIN 0005 thru 0006, 1006, and 2006 and removes the NSN from CLINs 0001 thru 0004, 1002 thru 1004, 2002 thru 2004.

The Part numbers were confirmed as correct.

Question 2: Regarding Drawing No. 8290306 (image on upper left corner) - It looks like there is an issue with over-constraining the part. The print states that up to a 1/16" Max radius is allowed, however if you use that value it isn't possible to make a part in print. It looks like this is the problem, the 2.492+/-.010 and 2.45+/-.01 are overconstraining this part. And while it is possible to get all of this in print, from what is modeled, the absolute max radius that could use to get the whole part in print would be .042" inside radius (but probably be looking at .032" to be safe). That being stated such a tight radius in relation to the thickness will lead to a higher proportion of bad parts. Would you allow a deviation on some parts of the print or may we add a bit extra on to the flanges?

Answer 2: The drawing states that the inside bend radius cannot exceed .0625in. Vendor may use any bend radius up to and including .0625in to satisfy the drawing.
