About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document that clarifies requirements for the NAVSUP HQ Furniture-Related Services IDIQ (Solicitation Number N0018926QW243), a 100% small business set-aside contract vehicle for furniture-related labor and support services at Naval Supply Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg and NSA Philadelphia.
The document addresses key operational questions regarding the scope and execution of furniture-related services. The Government will not provide historical usage data as this is a new requirement, but estimated hours are included in the Pricing Spreadsheet for cost estimation purposes. Services will be required to support multiple furniture manufacturers rather than standardized product lines. The contract scope is strictly limited to labor and support services; furniture procurement is excluded. AutoCAD drawings and existing floor plans are available for most spaces to support design and reconfiguration task orders, though contractors should be prepared to confirm and update minor discrepancies. The Government does not intend to conduct a pre-award site visit but may support one if necessary. The contract has a base ordering period from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2031, with an additional FAR 52.217-8 option period through February 29, 2032, with FOB destination to the specified Navy locations.

1. Will the Government provide estimated quantities or historical usage for each CLIN in the Pricing Spreadsheet?
Answer: This is a new requirement so historical usage is not available. Estimated hours are included in the Pricing Spreadsheet in columns titled “Estimated Hours.”
2. Are furniture manufacturers and product lines standardized (e.g., MillerKnoll, Steelcase, Haworth, etc.), or will services be required for multiple manufacturers?
Answer: Services will be required for multiple manufacturers.
3. Will task orders include furniture procurement, or is this contract strictly for labor and support services?
Answer: No. The requirement does not include furniture procurement.
4. Will the Government conduct a site visit before award?
Answer: The Government does not intend to conduct a site visit. A site visit to Mechanicsburg could be supported if it would be beneficial.
5. Are AutoCAD drawings or existing floor plans available to support design and reconfiguration task orders?
Answer: Yes, AutoCAD drawings of existing floorplans are available for most spaces. We try to keep them accurate, but there may be some minor errors that will need to be confirmed/updated by the contractor.
