N00167-19-R-0010 – Amendment 0002 Questions & Answers
Question Answer
1 What work is included in the Government’s assembly of body tubes? Without the counterbores machined out, the piece parts will not fit into an assembly for shipping.
The Government assembly includes casting material to attach parts internal to the body tubes. This process can slightly affect overall roundness and cleanliness of the body tube. In order to meet the fit-up requirements and tolerances between the body tubes and end caps, the counterbore operation is performed subsequent to body tube assembly.
2 Request clarification regarding counterbore machining. The machining is listed in Section B of the RFP and included in the workflow diagram posted to FBO. However, it is not included in Section C. Should machining the counterbore be included in Section C and priced in Section B?
Counterboring has been added to the Statement of Work, Section C.3.3, per Amendment 0002.
3 The paragraphs at the top of page 66 discuss providing past performance information/data pertaining to a recent past performance. The same section mentions using Attachment 5, but Attachment 5 is more than a reference data sheet, it is clearly a questionnaire, yet the text with the paragraphs at the top of page 66 make no mention of the contractor or its Customers completing a questionnaire. Please advise.
Information about the Past Performance Questionnaires has been added to Section L per Amendment 0002.
