0036/8/20N0002420R4112 RFP, Section J, Attachment JPage 47, Section 6.3.2,Is Dark Ship Start (DSS) capability required or evaluated for technical selection criteria for CLIN 0001? If so, what power and voltage levels does the PCC source converter need to run at to support the DSS? Also, is the small coolant pump a GFE item and on a separate power circuit? How does that circuit integrate with the notional single line diagrams? The correct reference for this question is Solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J Attachment H, not Attachment J. Attachment H provides operational scenarios, but all power and voltage requirements are explicitly stated in the technical specifications within Solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J Attachments B through G, inclusive of any dark ship starting power and voltage. The small coolant system pump cited in paragraph 6.3.2 of Solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J Attachment H is external to the EM (not Contractor furnished) and the power for this pump is also within the overall constraints of power and voltage specified.
0046/8/20N0002420R4112 RFP, Section CPage 17, Section 3.3.17.2, [EM_FRD_389] and [EM_FRD_390] Figure 4Figure 4 shows an auxillary mission critical feed of 450 VAC of 70 amps max.for ESC trickle charge, fans, controls, et.als. Can you confirm that this voltage source (450 VAC) applies to the baseline and alternate1 and 2 variants of 4160VAC, 450 VAC and 13.8KVAC SSDS respectively? The correct reference for this question is Solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J Attachment B. The 450V Ship Electrical Distribution System as depicted in Figure 4 of solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J attachment B applies to the baseline and all variants specified for this solicitation. It is noted that the 70 Amps cited in Solicitation N0002420R4112 Section J attachment B paragraph 3.3.2.1.1 is for input to the ESC.
0056/8/20N0002420R4112 RFP, Section MPage 187, Para. 2.6.2.1 CLIN 0006 Evaluated PriceFor the LRIP shipsets of CLIN 0006, in order to provide a realistic unit ceiling price based on econmic material ordering quantities, manufacturing facilities, test facilities and resulting manufacturing costs of those units, a minimum and maximum quantity of Energy Magazine systems that would be placed on order against each shipset and their annual delivery timing is needed.
