SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following items are applicable to this modification:

REVISED SUMMARY OF CHANGES

The purpose of this amendment to solicitation N00024-20-R-2427 is to:

a) Correct the proposal submission time stated in SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM, Standard Form (SF)33, Block 9;

b) Incorporate additional requirements into SECTION C - DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS;

and,

c) Modify SECTION I-CONTRACT CLAUSES.

1. SF33, SOLICITATION, OFFER AND AWARD, Block 9, as issued on 1 June 2020, contained a typographical error. Therefore, the required response date/time is hereby corrected from “14-Jul-2020 12:00 AM” to “14-Jul-2020 02:00 PM.” The date for receipt of proposals is not extended.

2. SECTION C - DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS, C.1 STATEMENT OF WORK, C.1.1 GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK, C.1.1.5 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY (GFP) (INCORPORATION), paragraph C.1.1.5.2, is hereby revised to clarify that the Contractor’s “Need Dates” are for Government planning purposes only and that the Contractor is responsible for coordinating and communicating with the Government regarding the impact to schedules. Therefore, C.1.1.5.2, as stated in the basic solicitation, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replace with the following:

“C.1.1.5.2 The Contractor shall determine the “Need Date” of GFP (Incorporation) items listed in the Planning Memorandum for each craft. The “Need Date” shall be based upon the Contractor’s Production Schedule, compliance with Government Property clauses of Section I and NAVSEA Standard Item requirements invoked in this contract concerning Government property control and status reporting, and determination of the priority of GFP (Incorporation) item requirements by Work Item. The Government intends to provide all GFP (Incorporation) items to meet the Contractor’s “Need Date.” However, based on item availability at the time of the request, the Contractor’s “Need Dates” will be used by the Government for planning purposes only. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to inform the Government via CPIR and TIDAR if late receipt of a GFP (Incorporation) item will negatively impact the schedule prior to that event occurring. Further, the Government may not be able to provide items earlier than the planned availability dates specified herein. The Contractor shall report the “Need Date” of GFP (Incorporation) items for each craft in accordance with Attachment J-2, CDRL B005. At a minimum, the report shall include craft hull number, Work Item number, and Need Date.”

3. SECTION I - CONTRACT CLAUSES, CLAUSES INCORPRATED BY REFERENCE, is hereby modified as follows:
