Received Contractor Question Government Response
1 Section B Note B 5-Jun-19
Mason Solicitation includes an allowance for escalation of the Fully Burdened Ship Repair Labor Rate, however it is currently undefined and shown as TBD.
For evaluation purposes, please identify the escalation factor(s) that will be utilized for post availability growth and new work so all contractors have the same information rather than an unknown factor. Additionally, wouldn’t it also be appropriate to escalate the daily pier rate for Government driven extensions if the extension is longer than 3 months
Amendment 0001 updates the Fully Burdened Ship Repair Labor Rate.
2 Section B Section B 5-Jun-19
In Section B, page 7, there is a NET AMOUNT line for CLIN 0004, then page 8 a NET AMOUNT line for CLIN 0004 AA and page 9 CLIN 0004 BA. J-4 does not distinguish the difference. The contractor plans to enter all of CLIN 0004 into NET AMOUNT on page 7.
Further discrepancy………The CLINS between 0050 and 0091 are not matching the Growth Reservation associated with CLINs that are assigned in the J-4 workbook. Please correct Section B to match the J-4 workbook.
Further discrepancy………Page 28 CLIN 0014 shows work item 980-80-002.
This does not match the J-4 workbook, which shows CLIN 0014 as 980-90-
002. Please correct Section B to match the J-4 workbook.
Amendment 0001 updates Section B to reflect the J-4 accurately.
