About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for a Tactical Resupply Unmanned Aircraft System (TRUAS) for the United States Marine Corps. The RFI seeks to identify potential sources capable of delivering a small to medium-sized Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) unmanned aircraft system focused on small unit logistics support across the last tactical mile in Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO) and Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO).

The RFI outlines detailed technical requirements, including a payload capacity of 100-150 lbs, minimum 100-knot airspeed, 40 nautical mile combat radius, autonomous flight capabilities, cyber survivability, and interoperability with Marine Corps communication systems. NAVAIR is considering awarding an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in FY2026 and requests interested companies to submit a 20-page Capability Statement by close of business on October 20th, 2025. Respondents must provide comprehensive technical details, manufacturing capabilities, logistics information, and company profiles. The RFI emphasizes that this is a market research tool and does not constitute a formal solicitation.
