Q:
Amendment 0002 removed the $3M from CLIN 0166 while keeping it a CPFF CLIN.
Question: The PWS is not specific as to what equipment the contractor is expected to procure, nor does it provide enough information about the facilities (dimensions, are the spaces fan rooms, rest rooms or offices, etc.) to determine how to go about building an estimate. During the site visit to Corpus Christi, offerors were not allowed to visit the T-6 hangar because it was undergoing rehabilitation. The building diagram provided in Amendment 0002 has no dimensions included, nor does it identify the above or location of outlets, type(s) of power, etc. Since no site survey has been allowed to ascertain the condition of the hangar facilities (Rooms, shops, currently installed equipment, etc.), request the government provide more information on the description and condition of Hangar 51 and its facilities. If the government does not provide information before proposal due date, then request CLIN 0166 to be identified as “TBN” to be negotiated after contract award.
A:
The T-6 Hangar will be number 58, vice 51 as referenced in this question. The Government has added the notional drawing of Hangar 58 to PWS Enclosure 1, Corpus Christi, RFP Attachment 18 under Amendment 0003.

The CBA for Huntsville, AL and the AWD for Ft. Bragg, NC have been added to Section J of the RFP under Amendment 0003.
