About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) dated 13 May 2025 for a Repair (Sustain) project at the Child Development Center (CDC) at Hanscom Air Force Base. The RFI contains two key questions and answers, addressing drawing scalability and site visit limitations. The associated federal contract opportunity involves comprehensive renovation of Building 1994, focusing on system deficiencies, code compliance, and finish updates.
The project scope includes design services, construction management, and commissioning, with specific requirements for labor, materials, quality control, testing, and documentation. The contracting agency is the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base. Potential bidders are advised that supplemental PDF drawings are available on SAM.gov, and CAD drawings can be requested by contacting specified points of contact (PCO Ashley Martin, CS Lt Amanda Thoman, and CS Tyler Fritz) by 18 May 2025 at 3:00 PM EST.

Request for Information (RFI) Repair (Sustain) B1994, Child Development Center (CDC) Hanscom AFB Date: 13 May 2025 Questions and Answers
1. Reference: File 01-MXRD+17-0051_B1964_DBRPF+Part+2 The drawing files in Part Six Conceptual Drawing Pack are not scalable. Can the PDF drawings (pages 229 through 268 of 408) be provided in a scalable PDF file?
A: Government has reviewed the drawings posted on SAM and has no issues scaling using the built-in feature in Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat.
Scalable drawings are provided with a graphical and/or noted (under drawing title) scale to the pdfs. Demolition drawings are not scalable. Drawings are presented at 1:1 on 34x22 paper (ANSI D).
2. Due to the limitations of only 4 representatives at the May 13th we are requesting a Site Visit for additional members of our team. When can this be scheduled?
A: Due to the project timeline and established personnel limitations for site visits, we are unable to accommodate this request.
Note: Supplemental PDF Drawings are now uploaded to the SAM.gov posting. If you would like the CAD drawings instead of the attached PDF, please reach out no later than 18 May 2025 at 3:00 PM EST to the POCs for this effort:
