About this file
This document is a compilation of state contract standard forms from the State of California, specifically including a Standard Form of Guarantee, Small Business Preference and Certification Request, Nondiscrimination Construction Contract Specifications, Nondiscrimination Compliance Statement, and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Declarations. These forms are standard compliance and verification documents for contractors bidding on or performing state construction contracts, with a focus on ensuring nondiscrimination, equal opportunity, and participation of small businesses and disabled veteran-owned enterprises.
The documents outline specific requirements for contractors, including guaranteeing work quality for one year after project acceptance, maintaining a nondiscriminatory workplace, providing equal employment opportunities, and meeting small business and disabled veteran business enterprise participation goals. The forms require contractors to certify compliance with various California government codes related to employment practices, workforce diversity, and business classifications. Contractors must demonstrate efforts to provide opportunities for minority and female workers, avoid discriminatory practices, and maintain detailed employment records. The documents also provide mechanisms for verifying a contractor's compliance with these requirements through various declarations and certification processes.
