MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

SUBJECT: LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION FOR 2GIT PURCHASE

PROJECT: 55 WG PMO B500 IT INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION

Background This requirement is for purchase and installation of IT infrastructure as a part of the 55th Wing PMO move into Building 500 on Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

Authorization Per AFMAN-17-1203, the General Services Administration (GSA) 2nd Generation Information technology (2GIT) BPA is a mandatory source for IT projects. As this IT project includes services, the requirement can not be awarded via this contract vehicle as the 2GIT BPA only provides a mean for commodity purchases.

In order to still meet the GSA 2GIT mandatory source requirement, the 55th Contracting Squadron authorizes the awardee of this contract to purchase the necessary equipment via the GSA 2GIT BPA.

This letter of authorization is in accordance with FAR 52.251-1.
