28TDP Drawing 82A5027A1020Note 2.2.6: “… O.D. MACHINING AFTER CURE IS NOT ALLOWED EXCEPT WHERE NOTED.” There is no area noted on the OD where machining is allowed and the OD tolerances are tighter than can be held with the specified production process. Note 7 does seem to address an area where OD machining is allow, however, this note has its own issuesDrawing correction needed.Machining to maintain O.D. is allowed for proper fit of the front and rear Ring End. Attachment 4 is updated to include this Information.
29TDP Drawing 82A5027A1020Note 7: This note directs the machining of an area of the OD, but the indicated area for the machining is not found on the drawing. This note also seems to refer to an area under the mount of the “…SPOTTING RIFLE MOUNT ASSEMBLY (FIND NO. 9 OF 82A5027A6101)…” This part no. is not included in the TDP (and by its nomenclature, probably shouldn’t be included.)Drawing correction needed.Machining to maintain O.D. is allowed for proper fit of the front and rear Ring End. Attachment 4 is updated to include this Information.
