m. Corrective and Preventive Action. Procedures to establish and maintain documented procedures for implementing corrective action in the handling of Government complaints, product non-conformities, and the application of controls to ensure corrective action is taken and that it is effective. Preventive action procedures will detect, analyze, and eliminate potential causes of non-conformities.
n. Handling, Storage, Packaging, Preservation and Delivery. Procedures to establish and maintain documented procedures to prevent damage or deterioration of product.
o. Control of Quality Records. Procedures to establish and maintain documented procedures for identification, collection, indexing, access, filing, storage, maintenance and disposition of quality records. Quality records shall be maintained to demonstrate conformance to specified requirements and the effective operation of the quality system.
p. Internal Quality Audits. Procedures to establish and maintain documented procedures for planning and implementing internal quality audits to verify whether quality activities and related results comply with planned arrangements and to determine the effectiveness of the quality system.
q. Training. Procedures to establish and maintain documented procedures for identifying training needs and provide for the training of all personnel performing activities affecting quality. Appropriate records of training shall be maintained.
r. Servicing. Where servicing is a specified requirement, to establish and maintain documented procedures for performing, verifying and reporting that the servicing meets the specified requirements.
s. Statistical Techniques. The supplier shall identify what statistical techniques are to be used for computing, documenting, verifying, and controlling both the Contractor’s process capability and the supplier’s product characteristics. The supplier should also identify how they are to be implemented.
t. Critical Characteristics. The critical characteristics of the SMAW shall be identified, controlled and verified IAW DOD-STD-2101(OS) and MIL-STD-1916.
CDRL A027: DI-QCIC-81722, Quality Program Plan (QPP) Conformance Conformance shall be achieved by successfully passing all prescribed verification tests and inspections prior to final evaluation. Failure to pass one or more verifications shall be cause for rejection.
Supplier Quality Assurance Program The Contractor shall validate that all supplies and services procured from suppliers conform to the contract requirements. The Contractor shall establish and maintain a supplier quality assurance program and report supplier Quality Assurance (QA) issues at in-process reviews or within 24 hours for critical items.
Calibration and Maintenance of Test and Inspection Equipment A calibration and maintenance program shall be established and maintained to ensure the accuracy of measuring devices used the in the performance of this contract. Measuring devices include test and inspection equipment, test support equipment, standards, and equipment controlling special processes as well as production tools, jigs, fixtures, and personally owned tools, which may be used to provide objective evidence of quality performance. A listing of applicable measuring devices shall be established and maintained. The listing shall identify the recall intervals and calibration procedures.
Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health System Safety The Contractor shall identify, evaluate and track environmental, safety, and health hazards, and define risk levels for the manufacturing of the SMAW MK-153 Mod 2 IAW MIL-STD-882E.
