About this file
The image is a detailed map of Legion Lake Lodge within Custer State Park in South Dakota, depicting the layout of various facilities and features. The map shows Legion Lake as a central blue water body, surrounded by multiple types of accommodations including cabins (Evergreen, Trout, Old Timers, Pike, and Cowboy Poet), dormitories, residences, and apartments. The lodge includes key amenities such as a main building, watersport rental, parking areas, a swim beach, trailheads, and a playground. The map provides directional indicators to nearby locations like Game Lodge, Iron Mountain Road, Wildlife Loop, Rapid City, and the City of Custer. Surrounding the lake are marked trails, including the Centennial Trail, and the lodge is part of the Custer State Park Resort complex.
The map is color-coded and includes a legend with icons representing different facility types and activities, making it easy to understand the spatial arrangement and offerings of the Legion Lake Lodge area.
