CSP_Resort_Facility_Sizes.xlsx

The file CSP_Resort_Facility_Sizes.xlsx is a comprehensive inventory spreadsheet from the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish, and Parks documenting facilities at Custer State Park across multiple developed areas including Blue Bell, Game Lodge, Hidden Valley, Legion Lake, and Sylvan Lake. The spreadsheet details 120 individual facilities categorized by type (staff housing, cabins, cold storage, offices, shelters) with precise location information including GPS coordinates, facility sizes ranging from 132.65 to 14,699.25 square feet, and installation dates. These facilities are part of a larger Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) project seeking professional services to evaluate assets distributed across 72,000 acres of the park.

The associated state and local contract opportunity involves a comprehensive facility assessment requiring detailed technical inspections of architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components. The project aims to validate existing facility inventories, assess current conditions, quantify deferred maintenance, and conduct a 20-year component renewal life-cycle analysis with replacement cost estimates. The request for proposals (RFP #25RFP15769) is due by August 6, 2025, with fieldwork expected to be completed before late-October 2025. The contract is anticipated to be awarded on August 21, 2025, with a final deliverable date of January 16, 2026. While no specific contract value is stated, the project scope suggests a substantial and complex assessment requiring specialized expertise in facility condition evaluations.
