The subcontractor shall provide tools and equipment to make the apparatus fully operational.
Additionally, due to steep inclines at the LBNL site, the apparatus must have a combination of engine power, tire/wheel size and, rear axle gearing conducive to safe operations at rated maximum gross vehicle weight.
Fire Engine Maintenance The subcontractor must provide to LBNL a fully operational Type 1 Fire Engine onsite at LBNL 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The subcontractor must perform all of the Fire Engine offsite maintenance at the subcontractor’s facilities. When the subcontractor is performing offsite Fire Engine maintenance, the Subcontractor must provide a replacement, onsite Fire Engine in kind, that has the same performance specifications.
