About this file

Addendum No. 3 for the LaMont Does Park Landscape Repair project is issued by the City of Lafayette, Colorado, modifying the original contract documents for a comprehensive park landscape renovation. The project involves approximately 2,185 square feet of colored concrete work, soil preparation, sod and native seed installation, mulching, and landscaping, including trees, shrubs, and grasses. The contract term has been extended from 60 to 90 calendar days, with specific changes to various project documents. Key modifications include adjusting concrete specifications to 6-inch thick fiber-reinforced stamped colored concrete, changing material types in specific project areas, and adding scope for minor landscaping repairs at the western project limits.

The addendum provides critical technical clarifications, including concrete mix design specifications (4,500 psi, using 845COLOR Solomon Colors Inorganic Pigments), compaction requirements, and bonding details. The City requires a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond, and will not provide survey services during construction. Concrete testing is not the contractor's responsibility, and all compaction efforts are subject to engineer approval. The project involves specific landscaping modifications, such as replacing native river rock with stabilized tan crusher fines in certain areas and adjusting irrigation and planting strategies to optimize water distribution and aesthetic outcomes.
