About this file
These construction documents are for the LaMont Does Park Landscape Repair project for the City of Lafayette, Colorado, prepared by Munding Design, LLC on September 12, 2023. The comprehensive set of plans includes landscape repair plans, irrigation plans, and detailed technical specifications for a park renovation. The project involves landscape modifications across two primary areas (East and West), including replacing existing ground cover with stabilized tan crusher fines and native river rock cobble, installing new turfgrass sod, and implementing a revised irrigation system. The plans specify precise planting details for trees, shrubs, and grasses, with specific instructions for tree protection, soil preparation, and installation techniques.
The technical documents provide extensive technical specifications for landscape and irrigation work, including detailed planting and irrigation installation guidelines. The plan includes specific requirements for tree and plant installation, such as digging hole sizes, soil mixture preparation, mulching techniques, and precise irrigation system configurations. The project appears to be a comprehensive park landscape rehabilitation effort, with careful attention to native plant selection, water conservation through drip irrigation systems, and maintaining existing trees. The documents include technical details on irrigation valve placement, emitter positioning, and specific planting methodologies to ensure successful landscape establishment and long-term park maintenance.
