This document is a Statement of Work for a road maintenance task order under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests in South Carolina.
The task order is for maintenance of Forest Service roads on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District. The contractor shall provide personnel, material, equipment, and other resources to perform road maintenance activities such as grading, ditch cleaning, brushing, and spot surfacing. All work must comply with safety regulations. The contractor is required to submit a weekly operations schedule and use biobased products to the maximum extent possible. The Service Contract Act applies to typical maintenance activities, while the Davis-Bacon Act applies to road repair and construction work. Sensitive areas with endangered plant species have specific mowing restrictions. The contractor must also clean equipment to prevent the spread of noxious weeds.
This task order falls under the broader Francis Marion & Sumter National Forests Roads Maintenance, Repairs & Construction IDIQ solicitation, which is a 100% Small Business set-aside with a $10 million ceiling. Task orders under the IDIQ will be awarded to the lowest cost responsive contractor.
