About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for snow removal services at the Buffalo Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Buffalo, New York. The SOW outlines the requirements for clearing snow from a 42,986 square foot parking lot, 900 feet of sidewalk, and access gates, as well as keeping all building exterior doors clear for emergency use. Snow is to be removed as needed, generally 2 inches or more, and the contractor is expected to respond within one hour of any FAA request for snow removal. The control tower operates 24/7, so it is critical that snow removal is completed to accommodate shift changes.

The related federal contract opportunity is a firm-fixed price procurement set-aside for a Total Small Business under NAICS code 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings. The performance period is a base year plus four option years, beginning 10/1/2024. A site visit is scheduled for 6/17/2024 and all questions must be submitted by 6/19/2024. Proposals and customer satisfaction surveys are due by 6/28/2024, with the contract award date to be determined.
