The Contractor shall use an authorized Electric Motor Division (EMD) representative of General Motors to provide the necessary parts and labor to perform the center section overhauls. All replacement parts shall be genuine EMD parts to repair primary movers at Power Plant 4 to include all MUSE equipment stations at the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Parts not specified to be replaced shall be qualified for reuse as prescribed by current EMD publications. Notify the Contracting Officer of any parts that are not acceptable for reuse. The overhaul parts shall be premium power packs or better. Fuel injectors shall be the latest EMD design to provide fuel cost savings and reliability. A755Portable Boiler Service - MUST BE NEGOTIATED BY KO.The Contract shall provide Portable Boiler for capacity range 440,000 BTUH to 6,500,000 BTUH. Contractor shall mobilize portable boiler for requested facility and make all necessary connections to ensure facility has hot water within 24 hours of notification. Contractor shall inspect the boiler daily to ensure proper operation and refuel as necessary to prevent interruption of hot water service. Contractor shall disconnect portable boiler, cap any added tees, and close any added valves to return current system to its original operating configuration. Any tees and valves installed can remain in place to support a future portable boiler requirement as long as they do not interfere with original system operation. Contractor shall remove the portable boiler from the site and repair any damaged grounds within 48 hours of notification.90DA

Contractor shall mobilize portable chiller for requested facility and make all necessary connections to ensure facility has chilled water within 24 hours of notification. Contractor shall inspect the chiller daily to ensure proper operation and refuel as necessary to prevent interruption of chill water service. Contractor shall disconnect portable chiller, cap any added tees, and close any added valves to return current system to its original operating configuration. Any tees and valves installed can remain in place to support a future portable chiller requirement as long as they do not interfere with original system operation. Contractor shall remove the portable chiller from the site and repair any damaged grounds within 48 hours of notification.180DA
