About this file
This document is Addendum #2 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) #SUN/250587 issued by the City of Ocala, Florida, pertaining to the Construction of Union Station Restroom with Ticketing Kiosk. The addendum addresses two key clarification questions from potential bidders: first, confirming that a full functioning fire alarm system is required per specific fire protection sheets (FP-000, FP-201, and FP-901), and second, providing guidance on the security camera scope by directing contractors to review multiple electrical sheets (E-000 through E-903) and instructing them to coordinate final camera locations and submit specifications for client approval.
The addendum is part of a larger procurement process for a construction project involving an approximately 1,000-square-foot facility at the Union Station site. While this specific document does not detail pricing or full contract terms, it is linked to a comprehensive bid package that includes mandatory pre-bid meeting requirements, extensive insurance and bonding specifications, and federal funding considerations. The project involves complex compliance requirements, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals, federal construction clauses, and specific technical specifications for fire alarm and security systems that bidders must carefully review and incorporate into their proposals.
