About this file
Addendum #3, issued by the City of Ocala, Florida on June 2, 2025, relates to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #SUN/250587 for the Construction of Union Station Restroom with Ticketing Kiosk. The addendum provides clarifications to three bidder questions regarding specific project details, including requirements for ADA railing finish, wall tile specifications, and millwork material selection. The first question confirms that the ADA railing must match the existing bronze railing by the railroad tracks, the second allows contractors to provide tile options during shop drawings review, and the third specifies Wilson Art plastic laminate and Sonos 3cm solid surface as approved material alternatives.
The addendum demonstrates the city's commitment to providing precise guidance to potential contractors during the bidding process, ensuring clarity on material selections and design specifications. By addressing specific material and finish questions, the document helps bidders accurately prepare their proposals and understand the exact requirements for the Union Station restroom and ticketing kiosk project. The document is part of a larger procurement process that involves detailed technical specifications and contractor guidance, supporting the city's goal of achieving a high-quality construction outcome.

Solicitation Title: Construction of Union Station Restroom with Ticketing Kiosk
SECTION 1. SOLICITATION - CLARIFICATION
1. Question: Will the ADA railing, note 11 page C03 need to be finished to match the existing bronze railing?
• Answer: Railing will need to match bronze railing by the railroad tracks.
2. Question: Is there a specification available for wall tile WT-1? Or is there a material allowance that should be considered for this scope?
• Answer: Contractor to provide options during shop drawings review.
3. Question: Page A103 finishes list indicates millwork as high pressure plastic laminate and gives Kraftmaid Vantage. This is not a laminate product line, should millwork be equal to Kraftmaid Vantage or should a plastic laminate option be considered?
• Answer: Let’s go with the following Plastic laminate Wilson Art.
For the Solid Surface I could not find Lento. So I am recommending the following by the same company: Sonos 3cm with bullnose finish.
