About this file

This document is Addendum #2 for an Invitation to Bid (ITB# FAC/250918) issued by the City of Ocala for Foundation Waterproofing at Ocala City Hall. The addendum modifies two key aspects of the original solicitation: first, the project timeline has been extended from 10 days to three weeks, with additional contingency days incorporated to account for potential weather-related delays. The project involves foundation waterproofing work for the city hall facility.

The addendum also revises the liquidated damages clause, reducing the per-day late completion penalty from $1,500 to $500. This change suggests the city is providing more flexibility to potential contractors by lessening the financial consequences of project delays. The document is dated September 19, 2025, and was issued by Ashley Presley, the buyer for this solicitation, with the goal of providing clarity and updated terms to all bidders participating in the competitive bidding process.
