About this file

This is Addendum 1 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB-CIP/251035) issued by the City of Ocala, Florida, for grout injection services at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center Tennis Courts located at 1510 NW 4th Street, Ocala, Florida. The addendum, issued on October 23, 2025, by Buyer Caley Conard, clarifies site access and equipment logistics for bidders. The City will establish an equipment access point at 1501 W. Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, Florida, and will arrange for temporary milling to be delivered and placed in the swale to allow truck and machinery passage from the parking area to the job site. The Recreation and Parks Department will remove one or two fence posts to provide contractor access, remove tennis netting and benches from the courts, and leave the remaining fencing in place for site security when work is not actively occurring. The awarded contractor will be provided with a key to access the secured area during authorized work periods.

Bidders must possess a minimum of five years' experience in injection grouting services and maintain licensure as either a General Contractor or Underground Utility Contractor in the State of Florida. The contractor is required to follow recommendations in the Geotechnical Site Exploration Reports provided by GEO-TECH, INC., and may be required to utilize a concrete pump with concrete trucks if no suitable route to the tennis courts is agreed upon by the Recreation and Parks Department. Bids will be received on a unit price basis, with payment limited to actual units provided, installed, or constructed based on estimated quantities in Exhibit B. Award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting all stated requirements.
