About this file
This document is a draft agreement for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 25-007, issued by Citrus County, Florida, for the purchase of new equipment for the Animal Services Department. The contract is structured as a standard procurement agreement that will ultimately be finalized with a selected vendor, with key sections outlining the terms and conditions for equipment acquisition. While specific equipment details are not provided in this draft, the document serves as a template for the eventual purchase, with placeholders for vendor information and contract-specific details.
The agreement includes provisions for payment, insurance requirements, delivery, warranties, and various legal and administrative stipulations. The contract appears to be potentially funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), as indicated by Exhibit B, which references federal administrative requirements. The document requires the eventual vendor to comply with numerous regulations, including E-Verify employment eligibility verification, non-discrimination policies, and specific federal cost principles. The county holds a sales tax exemption and will require the vendor to provide comprehensive insurance coverage, including a $1,000,000 per occurrence general liability policy with a $2,000,000 aggregate limit.
