About this file
This document is a Clarifying Questions response issued by Clackamas County, Oregon regarding Invitation to Bid #2023-09 for RV Storage & Decommissioning Services. The County clarifies that fenced storage is acceptable as an alternative to indoor storage facilities, that all RVs will be held for a standard 30-day period, and that towing services are not included within the scope of this procurement. The document addresses six key questions submitted by interested bidders to ensure uniform understanding of the solicitation requirements prior to bid submission.
The County further clarifies that it will not provide disposal locations for waste materials generated during decommissioning operations, placing full responsibility on the selected contractor to identify and arrange appropriate waste disposal. Additionally, the screening and testing for hazardous materials is identified as the contractor's responsibility rather than the County's, establishing clear delineation of project obligations. These clarifications, issued on February 22, 2023, are intended solely for informational purposes and do not modify or amend the original ITB as published.
