About this file

This document is the technical specifications for a roofing replacement project at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) site. The key details are:

The project involves removing and replacing the roofing system on one low roof and one high bay roof of an existing building at the Fermilab site in Batavia, Illinois. The new roofing system will be a hybrid built-up (three ply) and SBS-modified bituminous membrane roofing system, including cover board, roof insulation, and associated components. The work also includes relocation and reinstallation of existing roof equipment, and installation of a new ballasted roof edge railing system. The technical specifications provide detailed requirements for the roofing materials, installation, quality assurance, and project conditions.

This technical specification is part of the solicitation documents for the federal contract opportunity ISD-356855-RK, issued by the Department of Energy's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, for the removal and replacement of the roofing systems.
