About this file

This document is a Request for Clarification (RFC) Log related to a federal contract opportunity for the removal and replacement of roofing systems at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Batavia, Illinois.

The RFC log addresses various questions from the contractor regarding the scope of work, roofing materials, safety requirements, training, and waste disposal procedures. The key details include: the project involves removing and replacing the low radiation roof and high bay roof on an existing building; the new roofing system should be an SBS Asphalt 4CID CR G system; the contractor must comply with Fermilab's safety and environmental requirements, including completing specific training courses and following radiological survey procedures for dumpsters leaving the site. The contractor is also required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
