About this file
This file contains architectural drawings and specifications for window replacement at the FAA's Salt Lake Air Route Traffic Center Interim Service Building (ISB). The drawings show detailed building elevations for all four sides (north, south, east, west) with window dimensions and types marked, including 3x3, 4x6, and 4x10 window units along with metal siding, downspouts, and concrete foundation elements.
The specifications detail requirements for vinyl-framed windows (Section 085313) including performance standards, testing, warranties, and installation procedures. Key requirements include WDMA certification, minimum CW performance class, SHGC ratings of 0.40-0.27, and sound transmission ratings of 26-30 STC/OITC. Approved manufacturers include Jeldwen, Plygem, BPI, Milgard, and Amsco. The windows must be impact-resistant UV-stabilized PVC with integral black finish, dual glazing system, and full perimeter weather stripping. A 10-year warranty is required. The specifications also include detailed closeout procedures (Section 017700) covering substantial completion, final completion, warranties, cleaning, and project record documentation requirements.
