About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. FM26-04 issued by Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum (JPPM) located in St. Leonard, Maryland, seeking a contractor to install yard hydrants in the Triangle Garden. The project involves installing two yard hydrants along the South side of the garden by extending a water line from the Patterson Pool House, and installing an additional yard hydrant along the North side of the garden. The bid is due on August 1, 2025, and contractors are required to submit various documentation including licenses, insurance certificates, and affidavits. Bids will be considered non-responsive if they are received after the due date, lack required paperwork, or do not include the completed IFB form.

The bid includes provisions for contractors to insert a 10 percent contingency into the total cost, as detailed in section XI.C. Bidders must comply with federal and Maryland state procurement regulations and are expected to provide a comprehensive bid package that includes additional/alternate costs, proof of certifications, and an acknowledgment of any amendments to the IFB. The bid must remain valid for 120 days, and the state reserves the right to choose individual line items for the contract. The total project cost will be determined by the contractor's pricing for water line installation and yard hydrant placement, plus the 10 percent contingency fee.
