About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) attachment document for the Texas Procurement and General Services Commission (TPGSC) related to OEM Parts and Repairs for Loadmaster Refuse Vehicles. The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for inventory and repairs of Loadmaster refuse vehicles and equipment, with an optional collision repair service component. The contract is structured to supply parts on an as-needed basis to support the operational requirements of refuse collection vehicles used by the state or participating entities. Specific quantities, response dates, bid due dates, site visit schedules, and bidders' conference details would be contained within the full IFB documentation package. The contract term, including any renewal or extension options available to the state, is established within the complete solicitation terms.
Pricing for OEM parts and repair services shall be submitted according to the bid schedule and pricing structure outlined in the IFB, with vendors required to provide competitive quotations for both standard inventory parts and collision repair services as applicable. The solicitation may include set-asides for small businesses, women-owned businesses, or other designated vendor categories as determined by state policy. Any incumbent vendor information and current service levels would inform the competitive environment for this opportunity. Funding for the contract is provided through the state's operational budget allocated for vehicle maintenance and equipment repair, with payments issued based on actual parts purchased or repair services rendered throughout the contract period.
