About this file

This is a Solicitation Addendum issued by Austin Financial Services – Central Procurement for the City of Austin, Texas, revising the terms of IFB 7800 TJP1030 for OEM parts and repairs for Loadmaster refuse vehicles and equipment. The addendum extends the solicitation due date from September 22, 2026 to September 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The solicitation encompasses four categories of services and parts: Category 1 includes hourly labor rates for repairs during regular and non-regular business hours plus pickup and delivery services (estimated 125 hours regular time, 40 hours non-regular time, and 50 pickup/delivery trips annually); Category 2 covers five specified inventory parts with estimated annual quantities ranging from one to four units; Category 3 addresses non-specified products and manufacturer price lists for non-Loadmaster components; and Category 4 comprises optional collision repair services including body, mechanical, frame, refinish/structural, and paint work with estimated annual spending of $36,800. All pricing must remain fixed throughout the contract term and include administrative costs, overhead, shipping, travel time, and fuel surcharges with no separate charges permitted.

The estimated total extended price across all categories is $70,000, with Category 1 and Category 4 accounting for $50,000 and $20,000 respectively. Small Business Preference and Local Business Preference programs are available for vendors with headquarters in the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area (Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties). The City of Austin reserves the right to award a single contract or multiple awards based on overall low cost, individual line items, or other criteria deemed most advantageous. Offerors must provide mandatory certifications addressing wage theft adjudication, debarment, collusion, boycotts, firearm entity discrimination, energy company boycotts, and LGBTQ+ conversion therapy compliance, along with proof of workers' compensation insurance, commercial general liability insurance ($500,000 per occurrence), and business automobile liability insurance ($500,000 combined single limits). Acknowledgment of this addendum with an authorized signature must be returned with the bid response prior to the September 29, 2026 closing date, as failure to do so may result in offer rejection.
