About this file
This is a Solicitation Addendum No. 2 issued by the City of Austin Financial Services on September 10, 2026, for IFB 7800 MAS1006REBID, which concerns the procurement of aftermarket parts for medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The solicitation closing date is September 17, 2026. A pre-offer meeting was held on September 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams, with attendance from representatives of Jordan Ford and Austin Fleet Mobility Services. Prospective bidders are required to acknowledge and return one copy of this addendum with their bid response prior to the solicitation closing date, with failure to do so potentially constituting grounds for rejection.
The addendum clarifies a critical qualification requirement: offerors must independently possess a minimum of three consecutive years of experience providing parts within the last five years to municipalities or organizations similar in size and scope to the City. Experience cannot be satisfied through a documented subcontractor's background, facilities, inventory, or personnel; the prime offeror must directly demonstrate this required experience. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged. Bidders are evaluated as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with optional local business preference available to companies headquartered in the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area and optional small business preference programs available for prime contractors or non-small-business primes partnering with small-business subcontractors at five percent or more of total contract value.
