About this file

This is an Employer Certification form related to the City of Austin's Wage Theft Ordinance Responsibility Criteria, required for the Power and Pressure Washing and Parking Lot Cleaning Services contract opportunity in Texas. The certification document establishes compliance requirements that any employer submitting an offer to the City must satisfy prior to contract award. All employers are required to complete the City of Austin Wage Theft Training within 30 days of being awarded a contract and must contact the Wage Compliance Team to register for the training class.

The certification requires employers to attest, under penalty of perjury under Texas law, that their firm has not been adjudicated for wage theft-related incidents as defined in Austin City Code Chapter 4, Sections 4-22-1 (G) and (H) within the five years prior to the solicitation posting date or agreement start date. Additionally, firms must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in Austin City Code Sections 4-22-5 (B) and 4-22-6 (A). The certification form requires the authorized representative of the firm to provide their signature, printed name, title, the firm's full legal entity name, and the location and date where the certification was executed. Questions regarding the wage theft certification program should be directed to wagetheft@austintexas.gov.
