The solicitation due date has been extended to September 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CST. The City currently operates approximately 27 permanent sites with an average of 2 units per site, with 6 locations containing 4-6 units and 4 locations with 8-12 units, requiring service 2-3 times weekly. Additional demand includes special events such as the Austin City Limits Festival (4 units), Easter weekend at Edward Rendon Park (6 units), Juneteenth Celebration at Rosewood Park (10 units), and various other departmental needs on an as-needed basis. The contract requires contractors to maintain inventory on-hand and does not permit them to decline service requests due to unavailability. Service requirements include standard business hours operations with after-hours and emergency coverage Monday-Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday, with acknowledgment of service requests within two hours and standard 24-hour response times unless designated as emergency requests.
Pricing must be all-inclusive with no separate charges for transportation, administrative costs, or overhead, with after-hours and emergency service charges included as line items 6.7-6.9 on the price sheet. The contract includes a mandatory requirement for contractors to handle and remove medical waste and contaminated sharps from portable toilets and shower facilities, with removal and off-site disposal costs included as line item 6.12 on the price sheet; contractors must provide proper waste storage containers for this purpose. All trailers must include their own power and water sources with no expectation that the City will provide utilities. The City will provide complete delivery addresses, on-site points of contact, phone numbers, email addresses, required delivery dates and times, and any site access or security requirements for each service request. Contractors must restore deployment sites to pre-deployment condition, including removal of equipment, wastewater, debris, and repair of any damage caused by contractor activities, potentially including regrading, turf replacement, rutting repairs, and restoration of amenities such as walls, fencing, and signage. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning one signed copy with their bid response prior to the solicitation closing date.

Is this requirement limited to removal of Contractor-provided equipment, wastewater, debris, and minor impacts directly associated with the deployment, or could it include ground/site restoration such as grading, turf replacement, aggregate replacement, remediation of rutting, or other civil/site work?
Q7 Answer: The Contractor shall restore the deployment site to the condition that existed prior to deployment. After-Hours & Emergency Service: After-hours coverage is Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Is this the expected service window? Our estimated cost to dispatch a technician after hours is $1,500 per visit. Can this additional charge be included in the contract/pricing? Or is this Lines 6.7 thru 6.9 of the pricing file?
Q8 Answer: Correct, this would be line items 6.7-6.9 on the price sheet.
