About this file

This is Addendum 1 to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the City of Austin, Texas for the rental of portable toilets and showers on an annual, monthly, weekly, or daily basis. The addendum modifies and clarifies the original IFB requirements for portable toilet rental, delivery, maintenance, and service to support the City's operations including holidays, weekends, and special events. The addendum addresses amendments to bid specifications, clarifications on service requirements, and modifications to the terms and conditions outlined in the original solicitation documents. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their bid submissions to be considered responsive. The contract term and renewal options, along with specific delivery and service location requirements, are detailed within the framework of the original IFB and this addendum.

The addendum provides updated pricing instructions, clarifications on payment terms, and modifications to any set-asides or contract preferences that may apply to this solicitation. It may address incumbent contractor considerations and current operational requirements for the City's portable toilet rental needs. Specific funding sources, budget amounts, and financial requirements are established in the original IFB documentation. Bidders must comply with all terms outlined in both the original IFB and this addendum to be considered for contract award, with emphasis on meeting all technical and administrative requirements as modified by this addendum.
