About this file
This is a Subcontracting Plan submittal form for the City of Austin's Leak Detection Dog Services contract (IFB 2200 DCG1041). The document establishes the framework for contractor use of subcontractors under this agreement, which seeks to provide trained leak detection dogs and professional services to support water loss control and wastewater system efficiency. Use of subcontractors is optional and requires City prior written approval; only subcontractors identified and approved on the form may be utilized under the contract. The form provides space for contractors to list multiple subcontractors with their vendor identification codes, contact persons, and scope of work details.
The City of Austin's Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) Procurement Program was reviewed by Austin Small and Minority Business Resources (ASMBR) to determine applicability of subcontracting goals. Due to insufficient subcontracting opportunities and inadequate availability of certified MBE/WBE firms, no mandatory subcontracting goals have been assigned to this contract. However, contractors are encouraged to utilize certified small business subcontractors, including MBE/WBE firms, whenever feasible. The form requires documentation of subcontractor amounts, percentages of contract value, goods and services to be provided, relevant experience, and any applicable small business certifications with certifying entity details and expiration dates.
