About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) for IDOC Copiers, contract 19-426DOC-CENTO-B-5707. The IFB requests proposals for the supply, delivery, installation, training, maintenance, and repair of monochrome and color multifunction copiers for IDOC facilities across three regions in Illinois. The due date for vendor responses has been extended from March 12, 2019 to March 20, 2019. The IFB indicates the State may award a single vendor for the entire state, separate awards for monochrome and color devices, or awards by region, with the potential for up to six vendors.
The Q&A addresses several clarifications, including accepting electronic operation manuals, reporting requirements, invoicing by the awarded vendor versus authorized dealers, and responsiveness criteria related to memory capacity, copy charges, and multi-line fax kits. The pricing terms allow for both purchase and lease options, with a per-copy charge over a monthly volume. The IFB does not mention any set-asides, incumbents, or specific funding sources, but indicates the State will update the IFB and pricing sheets accordingly based on the Q&A responses.
