About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) log for the Solicitation HTC71125RE119 related to Livorno and Tombolo Dock, Italy Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS). The log contains three questions and responses from prospective vendors dated July 2025, addressing key operational details about the contract.
The questions cover terminal usage restrictions, expected vessel volume, and equipment availability. Government responses indicate no terminal restrictions for U.S. TRANSCOM missions, with historical data projecting 3-4 strategic vessels annually at Livorno and two missions per year at Tombolo involving two coaster vessels. Regarding equipment, the government clarified that no crane is available at Tombolo Dock/Camp Darby, and any crane would need to be transported with coordination required for entry into the secured Pisa Ammunition Storage area. The responses suggest flexible operational parameters subject to future Theatre Command and senior leadership determinations.
