ALL PORTS BELGIUM S&RTS

RFP HTC711-19-R-R002

QUESTION AND ANSWER ROUND 2

Question 2:

All commodity rates are to be quoted on an MTON-basis.

We appreciate the logic when this relates to containers/milvans with standard measurements.

However, Rolling cargoes are usually quoted on a per unit basis and classified in 3 groups (less than 10000 LBS, between 10001 and 60000LBS and more than 60001 LBS)

We also remark that in the units of measurement explanations, the light vehicles resort all under the "25000 LBS minimum", which seems relatively heavy for "light" vehicles.

Is this correct? (previously "light was under 10000LBS)

Answer Question 2: (Please see attached Excel Spreadsheet for MTON Conversion).

Light Vehicle: 25,000 pounds or less Medium Vehicle: 25,001 pounds to 60,000 pounds Heavy Vehicle: 60,001 pounds or more

Question 2, Part A:

Is there any possibility for the rate sheet to still be adjusted?

Answer Question 2, Part A: No, the government will not adjust the Schedule of Rate attachment or change the unit of measurement.

Question 2, Part B:

If not, is there a possibility to receive averages of MTON measurements for the vehicle categories?

Answer Question 2, Part B: Please see attached Excel Spreadsheet for MTON Conversion.
