About this file
This document is an Amendment (0002) to Solicitation HT942525R0005 for Scientific, Technical Research and Project Management Support Services for USAMRIID. The amendment addresses a clarification regarding subcontractor requirements, specifically responding to a contractor's question about detailed pricing and past performance submissions. The government clarified that all subcontractors must submit cost/price and past performance information, regardless of subcontract value, with the option to submit directly to government points of contact to protect procurement-sensitive information.
The underlying solicitation is for comprehensive scientific and technical support services at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. The contractor will provide mission-critical support across multiple scientific divisions, including research, laboratory testing, pathogen analysis, and diagnostic development in biosafety levels BSL-2 through BSL-4 environments. Key service areas include viral and bacterial research, immunology, vaccine development, diagnostic testing, aerobiology research, personnel support for complex laboratory operations, and technical expertise in regulatory compliance across federal standards including FDA Good Laboratory Practices and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.
