About this file
This amendment to a federal solicitation provides additional details for a non-personal services contract to dispose of expired medical equipment and supplies from a Navy warehouse, install new shelving, and reorganize remaining inventory. The contractor must remove approximately 340 pallets of expired personnel protective equipment and emergency response gear from the Navy Medical Center San Diego's East Miramar warehouse by May 15, 2024. The warehouse contains approximately 120 pallets of unexpired inventory that will require storage during shelving installation. The amendment responds to contractor questions by clarifying the three-level shelving requirement, confirming temporary storage for unexpired goods will be provided, and noting there is no hazardous waste.
