Q#Technical / Logistical TopicVendor Question / Request for ClarificationPWS / SOW / Solicitation ReferenceGovernment Response
Category 1 Configuration / Suffix (3870EA-D vs 3870EAP-D)Item Category 1 references 'Tuttnauer 3870EA-D' as the intended reference model. The salient characteristics also require a dedicated internal thermal printer (MFR PN P-PR0003 or equal) per para 1.7, and the Statement of Work at para 4.1.6 requires an automated closed-door drying system. In the manufacturer's current catalog these correspond to the printer ('P') and drying ('D') configurations of the 3870EA platform. Would the Government confirm the intended configuration - for example 3870EAP-D - so that all quoters price an equivalent build?SOW/Product Spec Sec 3.1 & 3.2; SOW Sec 18; Salient Characteristics Cat 1 (Paras 1.4 & 1.7); SF 1449 CLINs 0001AA, 0002AA, 0003AA, 0004AACONFIRMED. For Item Category 1 (~85L Large Tabletop Sterilizer), the required configuration is an automatic steam sterilizer equipped with BOTH an automated closed-door HEPA-filtered drying system and an integrated internal thermal printer (corresponding to Tuttnauer model 3870EAP-D / 3870EA-D with internal printer P-PR0003, or functionally equivalent build). All quoters shall price this complete build under CLINs 0001AA, 0002AA, 0003AA, and 0004AA.
Category 2 Electrical Power Compatibility (230V Native)Item Category 2 references the Tuttnauer T-Top 11. Would the Government confirm that the 230 VAC, 50 Hz European build is the required configuration, consistent with the mandatory native 230 VAC requirement at Attachment 02, Section 1, para 2, and the prohibition on external transformers at Statement of Work para 7.2?SOW Sec 7.1, 7.2; SOW/Product Spec Sec 9; Salient Characteristics Sec 1, Bullet 2 & Cat 2 (Item 2.6); Addendum to 52.212-1 Subfactor BCONFIRMED. All offered sterilizers across both Category 1 and Category 2 must natively operate on 230 VAC (±10%), single-phase, 50/60 Hz standard European electrical utility power. In accordance with SOW Section 9, equipment requiring external step-up/step-down transformers or external voltage converters is strictly non-compliant and will not be accepted. Note: Voltage Requirement shall be 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase (for clarity).
Category 2 External Barcode/Label Printer Kit vs. Digital LoggingFor Item Category 2, para 2.8 permits either a dedicated thermal barcode/label printer kit (MFR PN SRV000-0648 / SRV000-0484 or equivalent) or direct exportable digital logging retaining at least 1,000 cycle records. Would the Government confirm that exportable digital logging alone satisfies this requirement, or whether the physical printer kit shall be furnished in all cases?SOW/Product Spec Sec 4.2 & Sec 18; Salient Characteristics Cat 2 (Item 2.8); SF 1449 CLIN 0001ABCLARIFICATION. In accordance with SF 1449 CLIN 0001AB, SOW Section 18, and Salient Characteristics Category 2, the physical external thermal barcode/label printer kit (MFR PN SRV000-0648 / SRV000-0484 or equivalent, including initial paper rolls) shall be furnished with each Category 2 unit to support physical instrument pack labeling and clinical audit compliance, in addition to internal digital cycle logging. Note: This requirement is as stated. The external barcode/label printer or equivalent, including initial paper rolls) shall be furnished with each Category 2 unit.
Delivery Schedule & Lead Time (120 Days ADC vs. 01 Feb 2027)The Statement of Work at para 9 and the Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 require delivery of all fourteen units within 120 calendar days after date of contract. The Deliveries or Performance schedule states a delivery date of 01 February 2027. Would the Government clarify which governs for evaluation purposes?SOW/Product Spec Sec 16; SF 1449 Section F (p. 8); Addendum to 52.212-1 Sec 4; Addendum to 52.212-2 Subfactor CCLARIFICATION. Complete delivery of all fourteen (14) units shall occur no later than 120 calendar days After Date of Contract (ADC).
